Lavinia Calvert (pictured) has been appointed by Infinite Global to work with the agency’s global leadership team to lead its international growth strategy.
Based in New York, she will lead the marketing and business development functions Infinite Global provides to its existing clients and as it expands into new industry sectors.
Previously, Calvert was a vice-president and general manager for Intapp, a software provider for professional and financial services firms.
She has also held various executive-level positions, including global head of strategy and marketing and managing director of Asia for Reuters Media.
Commenting on the new role, Calvert said: “I could not be more thrilled to join Infinite Global at this pivotal point in the firm’s evolution, as it expands to new sectors and grows internationally.
“Having seen first-hand how this firm operates, from its senior leadership to its newest team members, I know it is driven by unwavering shared values and a tremendous commitment to client service. I am eager to play a part in helping the organisation harness its enormous potential.”
Jamie Diaferia, founder and chief executive of Infinite Global, said: “Lavinia is one of the most well-respected leaders in our industry, with a broad range of experience in different sectors.
“Her diverse experience includes CMO positions, entrepreneurial roles and consulting jobs, but the common thread is that she is one of the brightest people I have come across in my career. Perhaps even more important, though, is what she will add to our culture – Lavinia is exactly the person to represent Infinite as we spur the next stage in our global growth.”
Infinite Global provides communications and creative services including media relations, crisis and litigation comms, research, media training and content services. It has an office in London in addition to US offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
